“guilt free time to explore my own thoughts and ideas on paper...”

What is Journal Club?

Journal Club is a group online workshop where I give you the time and headspace to work through a series of journal prompts from me.

Each session follows a theme to start the conversation.

We follow a familiar structure so you can form your thoughts, reflect on the past and make plans for the future.

Free-writing
Identity
Values
Goal-setting
Boundaries
Self-care & lots more

Gratitude exercises

Some people really benefit from sharing their thoughts in the group, & others prefer to keep it all in the privacy of their notebooks. It's entirely up to you!

Who is Journal Club for?

Journal Club is for you if you would like to take a moment and find some headspace. It is a little bit like group coaching, and provides:

  • A chance to reframe thoughts, consider how to rebalance whatever is out of kilter, or simply to explore what’s going on inside your head.

  • Time to determine a mini next-step towards achieving more balance in your life

  • 90 mins per week to think about just yourself, and no-one else.

What will I need?

All you will need to take part are:

  • A notebook and pen
  • A peaceful space to listen and focus
  • Computer with Zoom

  • A desire for self-care, self-discovery or personal growth

Club Members Say

"I definitely had a feeling of trepidation joining a journaling course - it has been a tough couple of years with various health issues and with very minimal time for self reflection or care. I had concerns that I would be overwhelmed if I allowed myself to review certain areas of life and not be able to write anything at all.

All these fears were completely unfounded. I was entirely at ease with Julia’s clear, calm and positive teaching - she broke all our guidance down into manageable pieces so I never once felt overwhelmed and had no idea how much I could write when I had the space and the right questions were put to me! By the end of each session I felt I had created,step-by-step, entirely realistic personal goals that should start to build up into healthy habits allowing me to take a step back and pause.

Julia is a wonderful enthusiastic host and it was a great opportunity to discover the benefits of journaling."
